To mark the European Year for Development and the Luxembourg Presidency of the European Council, the European Court of Auditors will be hosting an international conference on European development aid policy on 20 and 21 October 2015.
As the world’s biggest aid donor, Europe works in association with many public and private partners, including international organisations, foundations, NGOs and states. Under such circumstances, ensuring the effectiveness of aid means paying close attention to the criteria and procedures for its allocation and evaluation.
On 20 and 21 October, this conference will help to shape the future of development aid post 2015, against a backdrop of rapidly changing stakeholders, challenges and intervention methods.
Several high-profile European and international figures will be taking part in the conference, to be held at the Court’s premises in Luxembourg.
The programme is available on the conference website. Since the conference is free and numbers are limited, you are advised to fill out an online pre-registration form as soon as possible if you are interested in taking part. We will then contact you to confirm your attendance nearer the time.
