The Task Force for Greece was established in 2011 by theEuropean Commission to support implementation of theEconomic adjustment programme with a broad range oftechnical assistance. This report examines whether thetask force fulfilled its mandate and whether the assistanceprovided for Greece made an effective contribution to thereform process. We found that overall the task forceproved itself as a functioning mechanism for deliveringand co-ordinating complex technical assistance activities.However, there were weaknesses in the design of someprojects and only mixed results in terms of influence onthe progress of reform.
