Dear fellow passengers,
Thank you for your interest in taking part in our survey. We are undertaking this initiative to collect the passenger experiences of ordinary travellers, like you and me. The results of this survey will provide valuable input to our audit on passenger rights we are currently working on.
As a result of this audit the European Court of Auditors can propose recommendations on how to better regulate and implement passenger rights. On top of this survey, we are collecting views of national authorities’ that are responsible for passenger rights implementation and we reach out towards airlines, railway companies, bus lines and ferry companies. Our aim is to provide a balanced and useful audit report. We expect it to be published in the second half of 2018.
The replies to the survey are anonymous. You are welcome to share with us your personal experience by using a form that you can find at the end of the questionnaire. It is important to note that we are not able to solve individual cases but we can learn from you experiences and help to shape the passenger rights regulations in a way that many problems would be solved before they re-emerge ever again. We kindly ask you not to include any personal or other identifiable data as this would lead to the whole questionnaire being disregarded.
The survey will take some 5 minutes of your time. We are grateful for your time and effort and please do not forget to share this survey with your friends and colleagues.
