The main purpose of the meeting was to prepare the upcoming meeting of the Contact Committee, which this year will be held in Bratislava on 20-21 October 2016 and will focus on EU Energy Policy and Climate. The liaison officers discussed new developments and activities for consideration by the Contact Committee, as well as reports presented by its working groups. They also addressed organisational and governance issues related to the Committee’s day-to-day work.

On 6 April 2016 the liaison officers of the Network of SAIs of EU Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries met to discuss the revision and implementation of the Network’s work plan for 2016 and beyond.
