Task force on Public Sector Accounting Standards for European Member States (EPSAS)

In 2013, the Contact Committee decided to set up a task force in order to closely monitor the process launched by the European Commission to develop European Public Sector Accounting Standards (EPSAS). The task force is mandated to take an active role in the task forces set up by the Commission on the issues of EPSAS Governance and Standards, and report to the Contact Committee. In addition, it monitors the corresponding developments at EU and national level, liaises notably with national ministries of finance, and provides input to the EPSAS task forces set up by the Commission.
