The web accessibility policy is concerned with helping users with a disability to access online information and functions. Websites need to be designed and developed in a way that allows everyone, whether or not they have a disability, to browse them in the best possible conditions. The European Court of Auditors (ECA) seeks to conform to the standards for web accessibility: we recently overhauled our website completely to reflect them.

At present the site is partially level AA conformant with version 2.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The ECA constantly monitors its website’s overall accessibility. Owing to the high frequency of content updates, and despite our efforts to ensure that all pages are as accessible and user-friendly as possible, you might still encounter accessibility problems as you browse. If so, please get in touch. We should point out that the videos, pdf documents and descriptions of visuals from reports that appear on a number of pages have not yet been optimised for accessibility.
